Our experience runs deep. In the last decade our partners
were in the right place at the right time, playing prominent
and highly respected roles in government, industry and
academia. From the National Institutes of Health to Congress
to a leading company in the private sector, we have worked
with colleagues around the world to not only understand and
influence critical issues impacting modern health care, but
in many cases to define them.
Among our accomplishments, we have
- Played a leading role in some of the most significant
legislation in personalized and predictive health care
including the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act, the
Genomics and Personalized Medicine Act introduced by Sen.
Barack Obama (D-IL) and Senator Richard Burr (R-NC) and the
Laboratory Tests Improvement Act introduced by Sen. Edward
Kennedy (D-MA) and Senator Gordon Smith (R-OR)
- Co-founded the leading public policy advocacy organization
promoting personalized health care.
- Launched a widely respected series of public policy
conferences in San Francisco, Washington, Chicago and
London.
- Assisting a high profile start-up company with a
direct-to-consumer offering by positioning them as the
standard setting thought leader in the emerging consumer
genomics industry, and by building a public policy ecosystem
with key stakeholders to establish brand pre-eminence in
their field.
- Advising a diagnostic company focusing on infectious disease
on how to build a relationship with the research community
in South Africa, linking them with global public health
organizations and securing for them a formal role in
advising the Federal government's initiatives to combat
infectious disease.
- Counseled a major academic health center on how to build its
reputation in personalized medicine by introducing them to
and fostering relationships with key constituencies in the
US and China, and by creating opportunities to take the lead
in policy making initiatives targeting personalized
medicine.
- Developing an ecosystem of support among providers,
patients, payers, Congress, and the broader advocacy
community to facilitate adoption of a cutting edge
diagnostic for diabetes as the company pursues FDA clearance
and fair reimbursement for its personalized medicine
product.
